Our Mission & Lived Experience

We don’t look at resettlement from a corporate desk. We look at it from the ground level because we’ve walked through those gates ourselves.

Bridging the Gate-Drop Gap

Every single year, hundreds of men walk out of the HMP Hull gates on Hedon Road with a plastic prison property bag, an un-smart burner phone (or no phone at all), no stable roof over their heads, and a £76 discharge grant to survive on. It is a setup for structural failure.

Launchpad 72 was founded to radically alter that first critical 72-hour trajectory. Operating as an official sister initiative under the guidance of Adapt Resettlement CIC, we combine authentic local mentorship with high-impact digital toolkits to provide an immediate survival path.

“Three stretches inside Hull prison, surviving homelessness, and beating addiction taught me exactly what the system misses. Launchpad 72 is the resource I wish I had when I dropped onto the bricks.”
